Our Story

Boeke Funeral Homes has been serving the Hubbard and Radcliffe area community for many years. We’re thankful to be an important part of this community and will continue our longstanding legacy of helping families honor their loved ones.

Boeke Funeral Homes has been in business for over 100 years. Jack and Toni Boeke had owned and operated the funeral business in Hubbard since 1963. Jack also purchased the Bergeson Funeral Home in Radcliffe from George M. Bergeson in 1968. Mark and Jack worked together for 18 years until Jack’s death in February 2003. Toni helped Mark until she went to the Hubbard Care Center in 2018. She died in January of 2019.

In August of 1984, Mark Boeke graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and returned to Hubbard to serve his apprenticeship. In 1986, Mark received his license, bought the funeral business from Jack and continued to operate with assistance of Jack and Toni. He became the fifth generation funeral director of Boeke Funeral Homes and continues to serve our community with dignity during a difficult time. Mark is a volunteer fireman, chairman of the Hubbard Care Center Board, secretary of the Hubbard Cemetery Corporation and serves on the Pastor Parish Relations committee at church. He enjoys spending time with his family, riding his Harley, golfing, gardening and helping the community we serve.

She adds a special touch to each funeral and memorial service with a beautiful candle that expresses each persons’ heritage and interest. Kathy also assists with funeral and memorial services and visitations. Kathy is a member of the Zion United Church of Christ where she serves on the church council and a Parish Nurse. She is also the Commander of the Hubbard American Legion Post #4. Kathy enjoys spending time with family, golfing, landscaping projects and serving the wonderful community we live in.

Mark and Kathy Boeke were married in August of 1996 and continue to own and operate Boeke Funeral Homes in Hubbard and Radcliffe. We have three children, Logan, Ryan and Emily and three grandchildren.

We offer personalized traditional and non-traditional funerals and cremation services. Our goal is to serve each family with care and compassion and assisting in a time of need, making the funeral and burial needs as comfortable as possible.
