Obituary for Delphine Suzanne Stratemeyer

Delphine Stratemeyer, age 74, of Hubbard, IA, passed away on Sunday morning, August 2, 2020, at the Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls.
Delphine Suzanne (Seyb) Stratemeyer was born July 30, 1946 to Leo and Ruth (Knowles) Seyb. She was a southern Iowa gal and grew up in Donnellson, IA. She graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1965 in Argyle, IA.
Delphine was married to David Stratemeyer in 1993. Delphine worked at the Hubbard Care Center until retirement.
She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Hubbard. She loved to go on trips, visit family and collect angels and butterflies.
She passed away on August 2, 2020 at the age of 74 years.
Delphine is survived by her husband David of Hubbard, IA; step-son Steven Stratemeyer of Des Moines, IA; step-daughter Susan Thermond and grandson Archer of Derby, IA; three sisters Barbara Smith of Centerville, IA, Nancy Harker of Milan, IL and Virginia Coffman of Keokuk, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Steven.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, Hubbard, IA.
